Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

I am taking on an exciting and slightly nerve-wracking challenge, a firewalk to raise funds for the incredible Feline Fine Foundation! This local charity provides a lifeline to cat owners in crisis such as homelessness or fleeing domestic violence by offering free temporary foster care, allowing owners to reunite with their beloved pets once their circumstances improve. Unlike many rescues that require owners to sign over their animals permanently, the Feline Fine Foundation keeps families together, offering hope in difficult times.

Their work became deeply personal to me when I needed to rehome a complex needs disabled cat after the passing of a loved one. The charity was absolutely fantastic conducting thorough checks and ensuring he found the perfect home. Not only that, but they continue to send me regular updates on how he is doing, giving me peace of mind that he’s happy and well cared for. I can’t thank them enough, and this firewalk is my way of giving back.

It’s Taking place at Hedger’s Cider Barn in Redhill on Saturday 15th February between 5-6pm. Steve Davis one of the  patrons will be participating, if we hit the £5k target he will do it in fancy dress 😂
Donators are encouraged to come and spectate at the event.

‘We are now in our second year we have helped over 300 cats and their owners in crisis. We are only a small independent charity doing big things in the Bristol and Somerset region.
It costs approx. £50 a month per cat in foster and currently with the numbers of cats we are supporting our running costs of over £1000 a month. We solely rely on donations so not matter how small every penny helps so please donate to our cause.’

By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping the Feline Fine Foundation continue their life-changing work, including:
🐈 Providing temporary foster care so owners don’t have to permanently give up their cats.
🐈 Running a cat food bank to support struggling owners.
🐈Offering bereavement support to those dealing with the loss (or temporary loss) of a beloved pet.
🐈Giving free, non-judgmental advice to help keep cats and their owners together.
