Sponsored Kumite (sparring)

Most of you know I love karate (most of the time) and I love Woodlands Animal Sanctuary, a local charity (where I volunteer). It is the Karate Club's 25th anniversary in April and as part of the celebration, we are raising money for Woodlands. 
Woodlands is a registered charity that helps to rescue, rehabilitate and care for over 150 animals. This includes cats, ponies, goats and more! 
So what am I doing? Along with other members of the club, I am doing a sponsored Kumite. For the non-karateka amongst you, it means we will be sparring (trying to hit and kick each other, at the same time as trying not to get hit and kicked ourselves!!!) It is hard work, tiring when done continuously, and painful when you get it wrong!!! 
What can you do? I would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor me. If it makes you feel any better about your hard earned money, I'm pretty sure I will get nailed sooner or later. I also know the more I raise, the more animals the sanctuary can help, especially at this busy time of year when kitten season is upon us.
However much or little you can give will be very much appreciated by myself, the sanctuary and all the lovely animals in their care. Thanks muchly x
