Suicide prevention day 115 mile run.

On the 14th September I will be looking to complete a 115 mile run around Copeland athletics track within a 24 hour time limit. The number is symbolic of the 115 men and women that sadly take their own life within the UK.

Many are familiar with my story but for those that aren’t I struggle daily with my own mental health issues. I am diagnosed with ADHD, ASD while suffering with depression and anxiety and am also the survivor of sexual abuse. My aim asides from the fundraising is to try to be a beacon of hope that our struggles do not define us. They can shape and mould us and that energy can be channeled into achieving great things all while inspiring others and making them aware they are not alone. 

The 4 chosen charities are local mental health orientated charities who do wonderful work within the local community.

This will be a community day with a bouncy castle, face painting, kids football tournament, tea and cake, raffle and an opportunity to bring a community together to spark a conversation surrounding mental health.

Day sponsors are £115 for the event and any other donations including raffle prizes are very much appreciated!
