Summer’s Donating her Pony Tail

Summer is 11 years old. She is having her lovely, thick, long hair cut very very short for charity. Summer is keen to make this donation for children less fortunate than her, eg with cancer. Summer also suffers from the rare genetic condition, epidermolysis bullosa, known as “butterfly skin” or EB for short. This is a condition where she does not have the genes to make the proteins needed to make skin, so she is unable to make her skin properly. However, her hair is luckily unaffected and very healthy 🙂 and she is keen to make a difference to the lives of other children who cannot grow hair for whatever reason. We hope two charities can benefit from Summer’s donation. Summer is donating her hair to Little Princesses Trust and fundraising for DEBRA. Thank you
