Event date: 16th July 2017
Danielle Russell is raising money for Eating Distress North East
I am doing a 15000ft skydive (yikes!) with 2 friends (Sam and Kayleigh) at Peterlee skydiving academy on Sunday 16th July 2017, which is going to be a massive, exciting (but scary) challenge for me! I'm hoping to raise some money through the event to donate to NIWE which is a charity run support service in Newcastle for women suffering from eating distress and disorders, who offer a range of services to help all women, no matter what kind of issues they are facing. They offer a range of services such as counselling, group therapy, workshops and recovery support groups but need funding to help expand the services they can offer, to help support many more women including their friends and families. They also actively provide education for youths, carry out focus groups, and feedback and campaign for better services from our NHS.
There is more information about NIWE available on their website which is niwe.org.uk if anybody is interested in more information.
If you can donate any amount however large or small it will be very much appreciated! :) I'm funding the actual skydive myself, so all donations will be going straight to the charity :)
Thankyou in advance! and wish me luck on my descent back down to earth!! :O
Danielle :)
