Marathoning for the Tavs

Sport, cricket and the community that it brings have had a huge impact on my life. Recently I have become more involved with the Lord's Taverners. This is a fantastic charity that provides inclusive and impactful cricket programmes that empower young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to develop the knowledge, skills, capabilities and confidence required to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations and reach their potential. 

Last year they reached over 23,000 young people with their programs, with 90% of participants saying they felt more confident, active and included. I can attest to the impact this great charity has and have had the pleasure of playing cricket with some of the young people who have participated in the Taverner's programs and gone on to represent the England Disability Team.
