My story
My name is Sydney I am ten years old. In July I am going to be transforming my Rapunzel hair from long to short; cutting off approximately eighteen inches of my wavy golden locks to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. This cause is really important to me because both my grandads died from cancer. Two years ago. Macmillan provided round the clock nursing support to allow my Grandad Bill to die with dignity in his home and support us as a family.
Additionally, I am going to donate the hair itself to The Little Princess Trust where it can be transformed into a wig for a child or young person undergoing cancer treatment.
Everyone diagnosed with cancer deserves life-transforming support and so I'm doing whatever it takes to help Macmillan to be there for everyone living with cancer. Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated.
