The Big Harrogate Sleepout - 2026
Thursday 1st October – Friday 2nd October
The Big Harrogate Sleepout is returning for its third year to raise vital funds for the Harrogate Homeless Project and Saint Michael's Hospice, two charities supporting people through some of the toughest moments in their lives.
I'm relatively new to volunteering with people who are homeless and have had the privilege of meeting some amazing people.
I'm swapping my bed for a night under the stars to raise money for the project.
Of course, one night sleeping out can only give me the tiniest glimpse into what life without a safe and secure home can actually be like - but it feels like something I can do to support the many people who face this challenge without choice.
Even a tiny amount would be a great help. Alternatively, consider joining the Big Sleep Out when it's in your hometown.
