Our story
A team from Harris Irwin Architects are supporting Dementia Forward's 15-mile circular Tan Hill Challenge on 26th July. The walk takes in the stunning scenery at the top of Swaledale including Ravenseat, Keld, Swinner Gill and sections of the Pennine Way and Coast to Coast.
Dementia Forward provide support, advice and information to anybody affected by dementia and locally, in Richmond, they run Garget House, providing day services for people living with dementia and respite for their carers. Their overall aim is to increase awareness and understanding, so that people can continue to live well in their own communities. In the UK there are 982,000 people living with dementia and this is expected to rise to 1.4 million by 2040. Harris Irwin are delighted to be the main sponsor of Dementia Forward’s Tan Hill Challenge.
