My story

In April 2025 I am taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon for the most amazing charity 'The Daniel Estick Trust' to celebrate what would have been Daniel's 18th birthday year.

The charity was established in 2010 after the loss of Ian & Claire's little boy at just 23 months. The trust provides memory boxes for bereaved parents through professional organisations, children's hospices and local hospitals. It also runs trips for children and families to create memories to treasure.

The value of such a simple item can bring such comfort to a bereaved family and those memory boxes can become a huge focus and support on the long and rocky road of grief families may encounter.

Now, it has been a while since those running trainers have been out, but they are being dragged out of the dark and dusted off!

Any donations how big or small can really make a difference to this lovely small charity, and it will mean the world to everyone involved.

Here goes! See you at the finish line!

Lots of love, Tash x
