TCF THAMES KAYAK CHALLENGE

Being someone not able to turn down a challenge, my friend Dan Lineker and I, plus 18 others will be kayaking and rowing 25 miles down the River Thames in support of The Change Foundation! We will be starting in Deptford where we will jump into kayaks and paddle to Hammersmith! Here we will transfer to traditional Thames Wherry style rowing boats and complete our journey to Twickenham!

The Change Foundation is an award-winning UK charity that over the last 40 years has used sport to change the lives of marginalised young people. They deliver targeted long-term interventions through coach mentors with lived experience, providing regular sport, personalised mentoring, and wider tailored support.

Sport has had such a positive impact in my life and I feel that a charity which allows those less fortunate to partake in sport, in a safe environment and a chance to improve their life, should be celebrated! Therefore the challenge and the charity was impossible to turn down, so help Dan and me to raise money to back The Change Foundation and improve the life of many marginalised young people!!
