Team Savvy - Rob Burrow Leeds Half & Marathon

A number of us at Savvy Park Runrz are taking part in the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half. For many of us it will be a first!!!

It is going to be a challenge but one we are up for. We have decided to do our bit for a few charities on our page not just the one.

We will be proudly supporting:

• The Leeds Hospital Charity to support the building of the Rob Burrow Centre for MND.
• The Clothing Bank who support those in need of help by collecting and distributing donated clothing and shoes.
• St Gemma’s Hospice who supported our member Andrew Archer and cared for his partner Emily before she sadly gained her wings after a four and half year battle with Cancer on 31st January
• Diabetes UK, we have a number of members impacted by Diabetes so we continue to do our bit.
• Different Strokes, as a club we have members who's families who have been affected. Each year there 100,000 strokes in the UK. With 1 in 4 of those occur in someone of working age or younger.
