Team London Landmarks

On Sunday 3rd April 2022, a team of nine of us will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. Not content with just running 13.1 miles past London’s famous landmarks, we will all be wearing replicas of some of London's most iconic landmarks, namely St. Paul's Cathedral, The Gherkin, The Shard, The Cheesegrater, Big Ben, London Eye, Tower Bridge and St Bride's Church.

We are raising money for Boost Charitable Trust. Boost was founded in 2005 and supports inspiring sports programmes which would struggle to launch or be sustained without Boost’s help. Over the past sixteen years, over £2.1 million has been awarded in grants. Most of Boost's awards are given to grassroots programmes. Even so, whatever their hardship, the prerequisite to every award is that the applicant must demonstrate a genuine need for a financial leg-up and a real passion for their initiative. Boost's mantra of ‘No Passion, No Grant’ has been a consistent and effective benchmark. Boost's focus remains on financial hardship, physical disability, mental & learning difficulties and social-exclusion.
