You really are not alone experiencing a stroke, whether as a stroke survivor, carer, friend or family member, can be devastating. strokes change lives in an instant, leaving people feeling frightened, scared and most of all, isolated.

The stroke Club and Befriending service is unique facility providing continued aftercare and encouragement to stroke survivors when they leave hospital through mental and physical stimulation. Support and respite for carers and partners, enabling them to meet likeminded people in a relaxed environment.

The Stroke Club can help you by:

Providing much-needing information

Support you, and your friends and family

Helping you get back your confidence

Always offering a warm welcome

Giving you the opportunity to talk to someone who knows of the problems because they have experienced it for themselves.

We support for day-to-day running cost for the charity.
