The Two Claires Tackle the Tower

Claire and Clare will be putting our big girl pants on and abseiling 170ft down the Palazzo Tower at The Trafford Centre on 13th July 2024. 

We are both terrified but will do it together to raise money for the fantastic local charity Trafford Domestic Abuse Services.

So who are TDAS and what do they do?

✨Safe Accommodation: TDAS provide refuges and properties for victims in crisis or those transitioning away from abusive situations.

✨Support Services: They offer specialist support, advice, and advocacy to help victims navigate their situation and heal. This includes peer-support and working groups for emotional well-being.

✨Male Refuge: In April 2023, TDAS opened the first ever male refuge in Greater Manchester.
Each bed space costs TDAS £32,000 a year.  This includes both the safe accommodation we provide to victims, and the vital support provided by our dedicated staff.
