My story

During September 2023 I will be participating in the Inspired Living 2023 'The Italian Job' cycle ride from Milan to London. Over 11 consecutive days I will be riding 1679 km including some very challenging mountainous terrain with an elevation gain of 21,390 m.

During my time as part of the Inspired Living Committee my family faced its own cancer challenge. This charity bike ride is therefore particularly personal for me.

This event is 100% self funded, so every penny raised here goes Cancer Research UK.

Information about this and previous activities to be found on our website - www.inspiredliving.org.uk

Inspired Living is a UK Charity Committee raising funds and awareness for cancer charities, with the following aims:

1. To inspire ordinary men & women to adopt healthier lifestyles to reduce their risk of contracting cancer.

2. To raise up to £500,000 for cancer charities.

“We want to show that ordinary people can do extraordinary things”.

Over the past decade Inspired Living has organised a number of cycling activities, both short distance mass rides and long duration rides around various parts of Europe. In the process we have so far raised over £370,000 for Cancer charities.
