My story
Dragon Boat Racing is an annual summer fundraising event that takes place each year at Paddington Basin. This year it will take place on Thursday 15 July 2010 from 5pm to 9pm.
"The PIP Team" will race amongst twelve teams on the day, competing in the race and rising to the challenge of raising as much money as possible for London Tigers. The team will paddle what looks like an oversized canoe with an ornately carved dragon's head at the front and a tail at the rear.
Prizes will be awarded to the Winning Team, the team who raises the most sponsorship and the team with the best fancy dress theme. Last year, the winners were Davy Process Technology, Marks & Spencer and COSMIC, respectively.
