My story
Thank you for visiting our page. We are a group of four friends from Hay-on-Wye undertaking the Brecon Canalathon challenge to raise money for health projects in Timbuktu.
The challenge is along 33 miles of the Brecon and Monmouth canal. The first 5 by canoe, the next 17 by bike and the last 11 as a run/walk. We are hoping the wind will be with us all the way !
The medics4timbuktu health projects we are raising money for are concerned with mother and baby health care in Timbuktu.They are part of the Hay2Timbuktu charity which supports the twinning of Hay-on-Wye in Wales and Timbuktu in Mali.
