Tom Davies sky dive for Alder Hey Children's Hospital

Why? A question a lot of people ask when you tell them you want to jump out of an aeroplane. Well, there's the obvious reason, I mean who hasn't thought about how it would feel to just jump, take a leap of faith from 15,000 feet in to the unknown and free fall with a man called Derek strapped to your back? And to know that you can try to make a difference to children's lives while doing it is surely to icing on the cake. Me and my family owe everything to Alder hey hospital for helping my daughter when she was still just a baby and seriously ill, the tireless effort and the care every member of staff shown us when we were all at our lowest will never be forgotten and my little girl will always serve as the reminder of what was as stake. While I hope anyone reading this will never experience what we did with our beautiful baby girl please take a minute to try and understand how special a place Alder hey is, how important it is to the many ill children that has the misfortune to stay there, how important it is that the mums and dads can be close by when their children need them the most.
Money raised now can really make a difference, along with other fundraisers and donors we can all make a difference to many families when they need it most.
