London Traithlon 2013 to raise money for Girls Brigade England & Wales

New year- new challenge.
The people who know me personally, know that I love to have new challenges. After running the marathon last year (can't believe its a year ago) the heat was on to find a new challenge. So the year started and I signed up for the London Triathlon. So now the training has been underway for 6 months I thought I would share the idea that I start on the 27th of July in London.

I am keeping with the tradition of raising money for a different charity each year. This year I'm raising money for Girls' Brigade, a charity which is working with children and young adults. You may know that I work as Funding officer for GB and I really enjoy working for and with them every day in the office or somewhere around England. I have to admit I have never seen people who are so passionate about what they are doing and they are driven in the knowledge that they change the lives of children amazingly. This year is a special year for Girls' Brigade as we are celebrating 120th birthday!

Obviously there are different ways of support. Pledging a donation on the website would be the first one.
I would also be absolutely delighted to see you at the Excel Arena in the London Docklands on the 27th of July. You wouldn't be alone, already some friends agreed to come and support.
Other people will support via prayers and well wishes. All of the support is welcome and very much appreciated.
