My story
On Sunday 25 September I will be running the Berlin Marathon. When I tell people this...they usually ask "WHY"???
The "why" is the easy bit. I've been fortunate to be a Trustee and now Chair of an amazing charity The Change Foundation for many years. If you've never heard of us, look us up please! For 40 years we have been changing the lives of over 250,000 marginalised young people around the world through the amazing power of sport.
This year we're launching a new campaign - Change the Game not the Girl - because we believe that girls should not have to change who they are just to fit in. Just to be included. Just to be taken seriously. Change the Game not the Girl will showcase the bold and brave young women that we work with every day, and who inspire me to run a few miles around Berlin. And hopefully their stories will inspire you to donate a few pennies too.
