Dave, Doug & Pete trek the West Highland Way

We did it! 116 miles overall including detours to the tops of Ben Lomond and Glencoe's finest mountain Buachaille Etive More (both over 3000ft).

After 2 years of recovering from our epic Wainwright's coast to coast expedition in 2011, Dave Powell and Doug Colton have teamed up with Pete Rowley to walk the West Highland Way (from Glasgow to Fort William) at the end of May. Officially 96 miles long, we're adding a loop around Glencoe to get us well past the 100 miles landmark on our 6 day Scottish march.

With stunning scenery, outstanding prospects for rain and compulsory real ale research, we're all fired-up for the challenge!

We're fundraising for 'You and Yours' and for the ORBIS flying eye hospital (through a separate Virgin Money Giving web page) which both provide incredible care for people in need.
