My story

We are a team of female army veterans fundraising for the Women’s Royal Army Corps Association. Our non profit making charity supports our female veterans. Our Corps disbanded in 1992 when most women were formally transferred to the regiments where they were serving. The remaining WRAC became part of the Adjutant Generals Corps.
We enter a 10k run each year and our team are called the W.R.A.C. LIONESSSES.
The aim of the W.R.A.C.A. is to:

  1. Support women who served/are serving in HM forces through comradeship/friendship.
  2. Our Benevolent fund offers financial help for those who are in need and have come across hard times.
  3. Maintaining traditions.

It is important to remember the women who served/serve, some making the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE.
The support given is a lifeline for many who live alone and those who are less able.
We still have ladies who served in WW2, many 100yrs old and older!
Please give generously to our worthy cause, any donation would be really appreciated - Thank you so very much.
Wendy
