Zachariah cycles to nursery

Zachariah (with a bit of help) says: "I learnt about some children in Syria who are not safe in their schools. I wanted to do something to help them and mummy and daddy told me about a charity who are installing alarms in their schools to give them a 7 minute warning of an air strike. I am going to try to cycle five miles to nursery school on the 11th August to raise some money. Please sponsor me."

Mum and Dad say: You can find more information about the project here: candoaction.org/savesyriasschools. £150 won't buy a full early warning system but it could install the solar power they need for the system to work and some evacuation training. We simply can't imagine a situation where taking your child to school might mean they are at risk.
