About us
The Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) is the only national organisation solely devoted to the conservation of bats and their habitats in the UK.
Bats are amazing animals, and an important part of our natural environment. There are 17 species of bat in the UK, all of which are protected by law because their numbers have decreased so dramatically.
BCT is working towards a world where bats and people live in harmony, to ensure they are around for future generations to enjoy. Your support will make a big difference to what we are able to achieve.
5K May
Event dates: Wednesday 1st May – Friday 31st May
Challenge yourself to a 5K walk at any time throughout the month of May and raise funds for bats along with way!
Your donations will help us to continue to find effective ways to monitor and learn more about bat species, create resources to educate more people about why bat conservation matters, as well as produce guidance and advice. Every contribution, whether large or small, helps to move us a step closer to achieving our vision of a world rich in wildlife where bats and people thrive together.
