About us
Heathrow Community Trust is an independent grant-making charity which receives funding from Heathrow Airport Limited, noise fines levied on airlines when they break the noise regulations, and other airport companies, as well as funding from Heathrow staff via their fundraising activities. We award grants to the communities surrounding Heathrow through a range of grant streams.

The Midnight Marathon
Event date: Saturday 1st October 2022
On Saturday 1 October 2022, Team Heathrow colleagues will take on the ultimate running challenge and ‘tear down the tarmac’ in one of the most talked about events at Heathrow – The Midnight Marathon.
The event sees teams of 12 people run a relay with each runner completing 2.2 miles, almost the full length of the runway, and each team running a full marathon distance combined.
This year all money raised will be donated to Heathrow Community Trust.
