The Change Foundation is an award-winning charity that uses sport to change the lives of marginalised young people. We deliver targeted long-term interventions for the most vulnerable young people through Coach Mentors with lived experience, providing regular sport, personalised mentoring and work-related opportunities.
Deliver - we deliver targeted sport for social change programmes for the most vulnerable young people through Coach Mentors with lived experience.
Innovate - we design programmes with young people, using creative methodologies and testing ideas by delivering 6?12-month pilot programmes.
Inspire - we work with other charities, employers and corporate organisations and create bespoke solutions to extend the power and reach of our programmes for maximum social impact.
Guided by young people, our listening process has directed us to deliver sports programmes that focus on these social issues affecting young people today:
- Knife crime and serious youth violence
- Social media influence and addiction
- Youth unemployment for vulnerable young people
- Disability inclusion and creating equal opportunities
- Mental health issues and developing coping mechanisms
We exist to help young people find solutions to deal with these social issues through the power of sport.

Event dates: Monday 27th September – Friday 1st October
The ‘PATH FOR PEACE’ - CYCLING THE WESTERN FRONT
Between the 27th September and the 1st October, the CEO of the Change Foundation and 5 of the Charity’s Ambassadors will embark on a cycle ride along the Western Front to raise money for the award-winning charity.
Covering over 450 miles through former battle fields and historic French and Belgian towns, will team will spend up to 7/8 hours a day in the saddle.
Over the last 40 years, The Change Foundation have changed the lives of over 250,000 children and young people in London, the UK and around the globe, including as part of rebuilding work in former conflict zones, including Sri Lanka, Rwanda and Afghanistan.
However, most of the charity’s work is in the UK, running a range of sports based programmes that help marginalised and disadvantaged young people unlock their talents and lead happy, safe and fulfilling lives.
The Path for Peace is a cycling and walking route which runs from the Swiss border through France and Belgium to the North Sea and aims to promote peace and reconciliation.
Please support our cyclists along their journey and like them, help to change young lives.
