About us

Projects in Palestine is an charitable organisation based in Coventry, fundraising to help people in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Our ethos is to help enable the Palestinians to continue to live and work on their lands whilst helping them to self -sustain whether it be by planting trees and crops or assisting them to start small businesses. We are particularly interested in helping people out of poverty by focussing on funding women’s projects, projects for children and farming and planting.

Projects in Palestine Symbolic Walk from the Jordan Valley to Gaza

Event date: Sunday 15th September

This is an easy 6 mile walk, taking in the Kenilworth Greenway, as we make a symbolic walk from the Jordan Valley (Jordan Close- Kenilworth) to Gaza (Gaza Close-Coventry).
Projects in Palestine are leading this walk, and wanting a limited number of people to join us to fundraise for the projects we will be supporting in Palestine. During the walk you will hear about the previous projects we've funded and the projects we have coming up.
We focus on Women's Projects, Children's Projects and Agriculture. Every penny we receive will be spent on the ground on these projects.
With your help we can achieve so much more.

At the end- just as the heaven's opened!

What a fabulous walk that was today, with the most amazing people. Thank you those who joined us and raised money for us. During lunch, Rachel, Lisa and Suzanne spoke about the sort of projects we do as a charity, and where the money raised may be spent. We had a wonderfully gentle walk through some beautiful countryside (the Kenilworth Greenway) before we were rerouted because of HS2- and the discussion about the destruction of the land and the detour, and we linked it with parallels with parts of the West Bank.

Today's the day. The weather looks good, perfect for a walk.
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we are more than grateful. Every penny we receive from this campaign will go towards a project we will do in the West Bank.
We'll see those doing this walk in a short while, and we'll see all of our donors on the other side.
