Donnington Doorstep provides a safe, welcoming home-from-home environment where children, young people, parents and carers can come freely, play, make friends and get support in an informal way.
Doorstep aims to increase happiness, physical, mental and emotional well-being as well as improving life chances for socially excluded children and young people. We work to develop a strong, safe and integrated community.

? A Family Drop-in open 5 days a week
? Donnington Playgroup, an OFSTED-registered Early Years setting
? Play, Early Years and Family Learning activities
? Drop-in activities for Young People
? One to One support, Casework, Parenting & Outreach
? Ante, Post Natal and Breast Feeding support
? Preventative & Support work around Child Sexual Exploitation
? Support to families affected by Domestic Abuse & Violence
? Facilitation, hosting and support for Contacts and Family Mediation
? A Community Kitchen providing delicious, nurturing food as well as educational and training opportunities
? Volunteering and student placement opportunities in a range of areas
? Development of Community Events & Partnerships
? Health and well-being activities including smoking cessation; sexual health and substance misuse support.
? Ethnic Minorities Families outreach
? Inclusive Play enabling disabled children to access the services
