About us
star*: tackling adversity in childhood.
We enhance grassroots rugby coaches and volunteers' understanding of trauma, so that they are more skilled in bringing adversity-experienced communities into the rugby family.
We reduce barriers such as arranging transport to clubs, sourcing kit and equipment and subscriptions, as well as connecting families with community services such as the police, social services, NHS and outreach programmes.
We provide a variety of rugby experiences in community settings, including local schools, to get young people active and excited about playing the sport. Working with Premiership rugby foundations like Bristol Bears, Sale Sharks, Northampton Saints, Bath Rugby, Scarlets Rugby, Harlequins Foundation and many more.
We consider ourselves a catalyst for social change; we increase participation among diverse groups, including those with additional needs, marginalised racial and ethnic backgrounds, and young people exposed to violence.
We make it possible for young people and families to overcome the impact of childhood or community adversity through play, relationships and the feeling of belonging.

Join us for the star* Annual Dinner: The First Five Years of Impact, our annual dinner marking a significant milestone – five years of the star* scheme! While this is our fourth annual dinner, we're taking this special occasion to reflect on half a decade of dedication, growth, and the incredible impact the star* scheme has had.
It's been five years since the star* scheme first launched, and we've witnessed remarkable achievements and positive change throughout its journey. This evening is a chance to honour the hard work, commitment, and collaboration that have made the star* scheme such a success.
We're thrilled to announce that the evening will be hosted by the charismatic David Flatman. Prepare for an engaging discussion as we welcome a distinguished panel, featuring both current and former professional players, alongside our dedicated volunteers, invaluable provision providers, and esteemed ambassadors like Georgie Grasso. They will share their unique perspectives and insights, discussing all things star* and the profound impact it has had.

- First Class Single ticket: includes a tour of Concorde, a welcome drink, a 3-course dinner with half a bottle of wine, a first class table with fellow single ticket holders in prime position within Aerospace and sponsorship for a star* child for a year.
