Stefano Di Nardo is raising money for Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Momentum Children's Charity
Event date: 8th May 2022
I have signed up to take part in the Fred Whitton Challenge (https://www.fredwhittonchallenge.co.uk), probably UK most beautiful and hardest 1 day sportive, consisting in cycling for 112 miles across some of the most breathtaking and toughest passes of the Lake District.
Since my first marathon in 2010, I have taken part in a fundraising challenge almost annually, but this is by far the hardest of them. I would be happy to complete it in 10 hours - but there is a strong possibility I may not finish it at all. This is why I hope your support will motivate me to keep going through the steepest ramps and push me across the finishing line.
For this challenge I have chosen to support cancer patients of all ages through 2 charities: Jo's Trust (https://www.jostrust.org.uk - that has supported my late wife throughout her illness) and Momentum (https://www.momentumcharity.org - a children's cancer charity set up in my local community). I know many amazing and selfless people that work at both organisations. Please take a look at their websites because I am certain you will soon appreciate all their great work and initiatives. Your donation is divided equally among them.
Many thanks
Stefano
