100 Miles for Melanoma

Last year, my life changed in a way I never expected. I was diagnosed with melanoma, something I’d only ever associated with “that happens to other people.” Suddenly, it was my reality.

The diagnosis brought fear, uncertainty, and a long list of questions.
But it also brought clarity. It made me realise how fragile life can be, and how important it is to look after ourselves and each other.
Early detection, awareness, and access to treatment aren’t just ideas, they are the difference between life and death for so many people.

This past year has shown me how much support matters. From family and friends to medical teams and charities, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful community can be during the hardest times.

That’s why this cause means so much to me. I’m fundraising to help raise awareness, support research, and ensure that others facing melanoma have the resources and support they need. If sharing my story can help even one person check their skin, seek advice earlier, or feel less alone, then it’s worth it.
