Megan Paxman is raising money for Skcin and Melanoma Focus
My story
May is Melanoma and Skin Cancer awareness month, and this month I am attempting the 100 miles in May for Melanoma Focus Charity.
This is a cause so close to my heart, I was just 20 years old when I was diagnosed with a melanoma. I had just started my 2nd year of uni, and found out the mole I had a biopsy of, was infact melanoma. Since this diagnosis, I have been educating myself on the importance of watching for any changes in and on your body, and have learnt about how we should be protecting our skin.
It has been tough, but I am using my experience to raise awareness and help others.
