My story
So here comes my next challenge!!
After saying never again.... I have signed up to the @ultrachallenges North Yorks 100km on Father's Day weekend on 2 weeks time.
Losing dad so suddenly and without getting to say goodbye or have another one of dad's hugs was ridiculously hard. But I'm one of the lucky ones.
I got to not only have the best dad, but got to keep him around after he battled cancer in 2006, and then got to have him until 2023.
In light of this I am asking for some sponsorship for several charities close to my heart and home right now to support children who haven't or won't be as lucky.
Child Bereavement UK - supporting grieving children, young people and parents
Go Beyond - a charity supporting children with residential respite holidays.
I will also be fundraising for a local student led charity initiative call ANTS via 'go fund me' page offering fun days out for children who have lost a parent.
