My story
As someone who has always claimed that they are not a runner, I am taking on the challenge of the Sheffield 10km to help raise money and awareness around narcolepsy. Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that impairs the ability to regulate sleep-wake cycles. Roughly 30,000 people in the UK suffer with narcolepsy (both diagnosed and undiagnosed ) one of them being my best friend . Watching her live with this condition is nothing if not inspiring. Seeing her show up and do her best everyday despite her body fighting against her constantly has given me the determination to complete the Sheffield 10km.
