Luke Watkins, Steve Magee and Keith Ellingham are raising money for Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust Charity
We are taking on the incredible challenge of 10YFan, a 24‑hour attempt to run up and down Pen y Fan 10 times.
At 2,907 feet, Pen y Fan is Wales’ highest peak… and when you add up ten ascents, we’ll have climbed the equivalent height of Mount Everest. It may be a slightly tenuous comparison, but it shows the true scale of what taking on all ten climbs really means!
Thankfully, unlike Everest, we won’t need oxygen, snow boots or a tent, just determination, stubbornness, and a good pair of legs.
The event runs through the night, offering a completely unique experience on Pen y Fan, from the quiet star‑lit mountain trails to the first light of dawn breaking over the Brecon Beacons (weather permitting!).
We are taking on this challenge to raise money for the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Charity, and your donations, big or small, will mean the world. Your support will keep us climbing, step after step, summit after summit.
Thank you for being part of the journey, and anyone who wishes to come and support (or mock) is more than welcome.
Thank you for checking out our page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust Charity.
