Well done Jo. Really impressive!

Jo Worth is raising money for Dementia Forward
On Thursday 13th August, I will be embarking on a 12 hour challenge from 7.30am-7.30pm to raise funds for Dementia Forward who support people living with dementia in York and North Yorkshire.
My challenge is to flip a tractor tyre for 12 hours.
The reason I’m doing this is because I am one of those people living with early onset dementia caused by CTE.
I want to do this challenge for a myriad of reasons.
Firstly to raise vital funds for this life changing charity, secondly to demonstrate that people who live with this disease are strong beyond belief, and for me personally to show that we are not always defined by it.
It’s part of me, but it’s not the entirety of me.
The reason why I’m doing this for 12 hours is to symbolise that for many people and their loved ones this can at times be a heavy journey, but I know that there are still countless moments of light if we can just endure those heavy ones.
