So..Why? Because I love my adopted town, Warrington – and I wanted to do something BIG & UNIQUE to show it… !
💚 I’m raising money for four amazing local charities chosen by our Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Mo Hussain, for 2025/26.
💚 I’m raising awareness of the reality of litter & flytipping clogging up our streets, rivers and canals. 🚮
I’m part of the brilliant Warrington Litter Volunteers, tidying up our town in our own time… because we care. In 2024, we collected a whopping 8000 bags of litter! Our cans are crushed and recycled by Novelis, with 5p per can going to The Orford Veterans Charity – raising over £4,800 so far!
This challenge is PERSONAL, it’s LOCAL, it’s TOUGH! It means the world to me.
This challenge is also in memory of a beautiful friend and fellow Scot, Graeme Coll, who was taken too soon aged 37 in May this year. He would have been doing this with me for sure. ✨
