Dirty thirties three peak challenge

So Harriet, Ruby and Emma turn 30 soon and decided to each pick three things they had always wanted to do before they are too old to do such silly business.
Emma has always wanted to complete the Three Peaks Challenge. For some reason, I am yet to ascertain, I have also been dragged into this....

Soooo we are going to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt Snowdon in 24 hours. A small walk of 1344m (up and down) followed by a nice 6hr drive then the comparably tiny hike, in the dark, of 978m... then a little more of a leg stretch up Snowdon, only 1085m. Easy.

We thought that we should try to raise a bit of money for charity while we're at it. We have chosen to support the charity Sane. Mental illness is known as the forgotten illness and one that often carries a stigma but none the less has probably affected each of us in one way or another.
Sane works hard to increase awareness and understanding of depression and mental illness while providing support and encouraging people to seek help.
