Son, you always gave me a hard time for rowing machine training, and running was definitely never your thing. You really did set yourself a challenge and you did it, so proud of you Son, blooming well done 😊

Sonia Omar is raising money for EDUCATION FOR ALL MOROCCO LTD
I will walk/cycle or run 5 K every day in May!! I I'm doing this to raise money for Education for All Morocco because I believe world change starts with educating girls. Any support you can give will be life-changing. Even £5 will sponsor a girl for 3 days of her education!
I am lucky to work for this charity and see first hand the impact it has on rural, remote communities and the girls who live there. Without the EFA boarding houses, they wouldn't be able to go to secondary school because those schools are too far away from their remote villages carved deep into the mountains. They would have a future of early marriage, poverty they can't escape and no ability to know or contribute their skills in the world.
The charity is changing that with their 250 girls in 6 boarding houses, filled with computers, books, nutritious meals and an amazingly supportive community of girls, house mothers and volunteers. Find out more about the charity here efamorocco.org and lots of cool media here: linktr.ee/efa_morocco

We did it! Not only did I keep up the 5k a day challenge but together we went over my target, raising over £300 for girls in the remotest villages in Morocco! Education For All is the reason they are able to go to school as well as receive lots of additional support including nutritious meals and access to books and computers. They are the future of Morocco, and you are now part of their journey. Thank you! Thank you so much everyone. I'm already over 75% funded! I ran this morning (3k)- it was cold and raining and then suddenly the sun came out. It didn't make it much easier, but boy was the coffee tasty at the end!

Hi everyone. So, it's 25 days into May and I have kept my 5K promise. I have either walked, run or cycled 5k every day. I can report that I am feeling a combination of very fit and a quite tired! But it is rewarding to see 5k reached each day (* about 10,000 steps). It really has been good fun and great exercise and I am considering keeping it up into the Summer if I can. Thanks so much for your donations that will sponsor girls from rural, remote areas of Morocco through their education. Doing this for them makes the K's so worthwhile!
