500km Cycle: Paris to Amsterdam

I am cycling 500km from the foot of the Eiffel Tower to Amsterdam Centraal Station in six days to raise money for St. Richard's Hospice (strichards.org.uk/).

St Richard's cares for over 2,500 patients and families who are living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The hospice works to enhance, through specialist palliative care and education, the quality of life of its patients and those important to them. The team includes doctors, nurses, counsellors and therapists working alongside highly trained volunteers who provide at-home care as well as in-patient services. The work that St. Richard's does is invaluable in improving lives of people affected by terminal illnesses and providing vital support to their families.

I appreciate that you probably get inundated with sponsorship requests from people doing something they've always wanted to do (or just going away on holiday...) and I can see how this might look like another prime example. So to reassure you that I will also be giving something - and to make your donation all the more worthwhile - for every £1.00 of sponsorship I receive I am donating a further £0.25 to this great cause.
