Justice Team do a great job. Good luck for the marathon
Event date: 5th October 2024
Andrew Peabody is raising money for Citizens Advice Bournemouth Christchurch & Poole
I am running the 50km ultra marathon, Run to the Sea Bournemouth, for the Justice Advice Project run by Citizens Advice Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
The Justice Advice project provides help and support to people who live or have a case in Dorset who do not have legal representation in County Court and Family Court proceedings.
This includes support with access to children, divorce, money claims, housing issues, non-molestation, and eviction/possession.
The dedicated and trained staff and volunteers can help with general orientation around the court building, explaining the court processes/instructions and options available. They can also help with understanding and completing application forms/court papers and any arising family issues.
They fill an essential gap where there is a lack of affordable legal help and the project is in need of funds to ensure it can continue to meet clients needs.

Aaand I did it! Beating my previous ultra time of 8 hrs 27 mins, I did this in approx 6 hrs 54 mins. The first 35km went pretty well, then my knee started hurting, at 45km I started walking for the last 5km to avoid any serious injury. So happy to be met by friends and family at the finish line (here’s a pic of me and my daughter Poppy). In recovery now, getting less sore by the day! Thank you everyone for your support! Andrew 😊

Thank you everyone for your generosity and support. It is just 4 days to go until my run! I have been training, but probably not as much as I should have been 😂, but it will be all fine on the day. Please share the donation page if you can to spread awareness. Here is a lovely photo of me on my first ever ultramarathon (this will be my second!), I think Amy will be there to take pictures at the end on the day. Thank you again, Andrew.
Your donations will help the great work Citizens Advice Bournemouth Christchurch & Poole do.
