7 in 7 Series

Hi everyone,

I am running in aid of two icons. Firstly, the great Rob Burrow. Without him and his advice I wouldn't be the Captain of Leeds Rhinos LDSL team, 'In a world full of adversity we must dare to dream'. His legacy will continue to inspire the whole MND community.

Secondly, my partner, Jenny. She keeps me on my feet and motivates me to never give up. Jenny has always been an advocate of the AT Society. This charity supports people with Ataxia-Telangiectasia, a condition which affected Jenny's older sister, Louise.

Throughout my fundraising efforts I am also raising money for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support. Both of these charities have supported myself and my family greatly, therefore they are held close to my heart.

Previously to raise money I have ran the Leeds and Morley 10k multiple times and Last year I ran the York 10k for the 1st time. In 2024 I decided to take on the mammoth challenge of the Rob Burrow CBE Marathon, to push myself further than I have ever been before, conquering it in 7 hours and 50 minutes! Then in 2025 I conquered the Rob Burrow Marathon beating my time by 30 minutes.

As I look ahead to 2026 I will be doing the TCS London Marathon for the First Time, Leeds 10k, Abbey Dash, Scarborough 10k, race for life and many more.

Any donations to support these four amazing charities would be greatly appreciated! All donations are divided equally between the MND Association, the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, AT Society and Macmillan Cancer Support.
