Adam’s Charioke Afternoon At The Fox & Grapes

Dear Friends

Our upcoming karaoke afternoon is in aid of The Daniel Estick Trust. I strongly believe that memories are a precious gift that should be protected and cherished. When a family loses a child, the opportunity to create new memories is lost, making it essential that the moments already shared are kept safe.

The Trust is a tiny charity and provide beautiful, high-quality memory boxes to bereaved parents and families, offering them a dedicated and special place to store photographs, keepsakes, and items that hold significant meaning. When I discovered that funds they were expecting to receive this year, were no longer there, I decided to try and make a little bit of this up.

Each box serves as a vital tool in the grieving process, helping families (and especially bereaved siblings) maintain a lasting connection to their loved ones. Your donation will ensure that more families have a safe place to revisit their treasures whenever they need to feel close to the person they have lost.

By supporting our karaoke afternoon or buying a raffle ticket, you are directly helping the Trust provide these boxes to hospitals, hospices, and support groups across the country. What’s more, my employers, Carlsberg Britvic UK will DOUBLE our fundraising total up to £500 through their Founder’s Fund scheme.

Huge thanks must go to Mel Summers at Kingfisher Midlands for sponsoring the event, The Grainger Family at The Fox & Grapes for allowing us to hold it in the pub, Craigy Pops for giving up his time and wages to host the event, The Founder’s Fund at Carlsberg Britvic and everyone who chooses to buys a raffle ticket or throws a few coins in our bucket on the day.
