Remembering Adrian

Throughout his life, Adrian was involved in work to support and empower young people and give them a voice. When his own children were growing up, he was heavily involved in the Teddington Woodcraft Folk. Following this, he was very active in youth services within Richmond borough for many years and through his role as chair of the Richmond Youth Partnership was awarded an MBE for services to young people. When Richmond Youth Partnership sadly closed due to lack of funding in 2013, Off The Record Twickenham, which had been part of the partnership, formed a separate charity offering counselling, information and advice for young people. Their work is valued and needed now more than ever and as we know this was a charity close to Adrian’s heart we are raising funds to support their invaluable work in his memory.
