Peter Branker is raising money for The African Impact Foundation
As many of my friends and colleagues know I was lucky enough to go volunteering on a Teaching & Community Support in Zanzibar in July 2022 and what a life changing experience it was. That's why I cannot wait to go back in October 2023, and having seen the fantastic work of African Impact in the project in Zanzibar I want to raise some funds to help in the work they do. All funds raised will go directly to the project which includes teaching children and adults English at the local schools and getting involved in community development opportunities which includes everything from Eco brick building, Mangrove seed planting and general clean ups. There is also a Tropical Marine Conservation & Dolphin Research project there which is helping to contribute to the sustainability of dolphin tourism and protecting marine life in the area. This project transforms the life's of the local communities of Zanzibar. I hope you will see the difference even the smallest donation can make in the lives of the people of Zanzibar.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The African Impact Foundation.

So with approximately 10 days until I return to Zanzibar and the volunteering project with African Impact I want to thank all those who have contributed to my fundraising efforts so far for this truly life-changing community driven endeavour. This project not only changes the lives of the local community on Zanzibar surrounding Jambiani and further afield in a truly positive and remarkable way. It also changes and enhances the lives of the volunteers, staff and all those connected to the project in any way. A truly life changing experience for myself and one I cannot wait to return to on Monday 2 October. There is still plenty of time should anyone still wish to donate. Your donations will change lives in a purely positive and remarkable way. Thank you all.

So with approximately 2 weeks until I return to Zanzibar to volunteer with African Impact I’m overwhelmed with the generosity of everyone. I really cannot thank everyone enough. Not far from £3,000 raised so far. All these funds will make a hugh difference to the lives of those in the communities in Jambiani and the surrounding area. If you haven’t already donated please consider doing so. If you have please consider sharing my page. Help me to get to £3,000.

Thanks to SuperValu in Dromore today for allowing me to do a store collection. I managed to raise £633.62 which is an amazing amount. I’m very grateful. This will make a huge difference in Jambiani Zanzibar.

So after a coffee morning in work my target is now in sight. My total raised so far is £1,344.20. I’ve still some funds to receive for a sponsored walk and a store collection on Saturday. I’m confident I’m going to get past my total which is amazing. Please Play financially consider donating folks to this amazing project in Zanzibar. You will help to transform lives in unimaginable ways. Thanks to everyone’s generosity so far.

So on Sunday a few of us managed a sponsored walk around the Slieve Binian Loop in the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. What a beautiful sunny day we had and the views on this walk are simply breathtaking. What a great days craic we had. I’ll add the fundraising amounts in to the page as i get them in. Many thanks to those who took part and those people who are donating to the fundraising. It is truly greatly appreciated.
