Akers of Art does Strictly

I am taking part in Strictly goes Dirty Dancing!!
I absolutley love to dance although have very little experience!! Ballet lessons at 3 years old and maybe a few classes in Ceroc is about as far as I have gone, so this is a big thing for me. The child in me is saying "eeeeeeek", I'm so excited. 

It will be an evening of glitz and glamour as I as a contestant showcase my newly learnt  dance skills in a competition where the audience get to choose their winner!

I will be paired with a professional dancer and will learn specially created choreography in dance lessons from September 2025. The theme for the evening is Dirty Dancing, with all of the contestants and their partners performing to music from the movie we all know and love.
And oh how I love Dirty Dancing, I can't count how many times I have seen it!! I cannot wait to take on this challenge but in order to take part, I have committed to fundraising £2000 in aid of Shelter.
