Alastair Miles is raising money for The Lord's Taverners
My story
I am running the London marathon for Lord’s Taverners because I have seen personally how much participation in team sports has helped me. I’ve learned skills, developed a competitive edge and grown my confidence - but perhaps most importantly it’s been an opportunity to move my body and play as is natural for our species. These are things that are often taken for granted, but not everyone gets the same opportunities.
Lord’s Taverners provides inclusion in sports for kids who lack support or who have disabilities which would otherwise exclude them from such activities.
I am really grateful to raise a few pounds towards the funding of these projects - thank you for any donations you can afford to make.
