With 4 weeks to go until my marathon I have just run my longest run to date - 32km. This is by far one of the hardest things I have ever done but I am very excited for the big day. Trying to fit all of the necessary training around my daily life has been a challenge, and I have definitely thought twice after getting in from work and having to go out for a 3+ hour run. I couldn't be happier to be doing it for such a great organisation. Alexei 11/3/24

Our story
After running the Great South Run in 2022 and the Gosport Half Marathon last year, Alexei has got the running bug and wanted to continue his training. The Brighton Marathon in April is his next challenge. Talking to his cousin Patrick, who has completed half marathons in the past - they have decided to do the Brighton Marathon together and raise funds for Plan B.
