Amanda takes on the Three Peak Challenge!

I am taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales (in that order!). Why? Well I am starting to think it is a bit mad, but the money I raise from completing will go towards 3 very special charities. 
Verity's Gift is the main charity that the group I am completing this challenge with is supporting - they help young people and their families that have gone through trauma. The work they do is invaluable to those they help and a fitting tribute to Verity, in whose name the charity was set up. 
The MSA Trust, is one that supported my lovely dad, who sadly passed away in 2018, and countless other people with the condition and their families. They fund research in to a life limiting condition that really is the pits! 
Finally, The Miscarriage Association - this year marks 5 years since my first miscarriage, we lost our baby at the very start of the pandemic. The support from this charity was incredible, during an unprecedented and very difficult time.

If you can find some change under the sofa cushions, or you are able to dig a little bit deeper - every penny will be hugely appreciated and keep me going as I am scrambling up mountains!
